HP DeskJet 2755e vs HP DeskJet 2752e Review: Pros & Cons
DeskJet is one of the printer series by HP that offers various models with different features and performances. This time, we have a chance to try two products from this series and review them. Without further ado, here is a comparison review of HP DeskJet 2755e vs HP DeskJet 2752e.
HP DeskJet 2755e Review
Similar to other series, HP also provides the instant ink subscription service for free when you buy this inkjet printer model. You get a free 6-month supply of instant ink after activating the HP+ feature. HP will send the ink supply, so your printer won’t run out of ink supply during that period.
The HP+ Smart Feature is another free bonus from HP. After you activate this feature, you didn’t only get a six months ink supply. You also get free advanced features for mobile printing, security, automatic updates, and many others.
How about this product’s printing capability and performance? We can say that HP created this model for standard printing purposes. Basic color printing, like documents or recipes, shows a satisfying result.
Moreover, it is also easy to set up. The HP Smart app helps us when we have to do that for the first time. Then, we can use this printer for printing, copying, and scanning in color, all of which are doable via a wireless connection.
The only flaw we found is the duplex printing. This printer model has no automatic duplex printing feature. It means you must manually flip the paper to print in duplex mode.

HP DeskJet 2755e Pros & Cons
- Free 6-month ink supply from HP.

HP DeskJet 2752e Review
Next, we have the DeskJet 2752e model, which is the older version of the DeskJet 2755e. This printer also has a similar design and appearance to 2755e, but we found some differences in its feature and performance.
Its printing speed is not that fast. It can only print 7.5 black/monochrome documents per minute. As for color printing, it only can print 5.5 pages per minute.
The paper tray capacity is quite big for basic-class printing needs, which can hold up to 60 sheets of paper. However, the printer can only take 25 sheets which it uses for printing the document or images.
This inkjet printer has a high printing resolution (4800 x 1200 dpi). However, you need to know this resolution is the number at maximum settings. The default setting is lower than that, which means you have to set it up to get that resolution.
The connectivity technology uses a wireless and Hi-Speed USB. If you have no wireless, this printer also comes with a printer cable to connect it to your device or computer. The only problem is you can’t use VPN when you try to connect this printer to your network because it will guarantee to fail.

Which is Better, HP DeskJet 2755e or HP DeskJet 2752e?
The HP Deskjet 2755e is a better printer than the 2752e model. Even though the 2755e focus on the ink feature, its overall performance is the same and even better than the 2752e. Considering the flaw in the 2752e, we decided to choose the 2755e as the winner.
